Show & Tell Friday!

Stop over at Cindy's to see her beautiful birdhouse over at
My Romanic Home. Please take a few minutes and stop by as many of the Show & Tell participants that you can, they've all got a lot of wonderful things to share with YOU!!!

I bought this finial several years ago, and just today decided
to dig it out of my 'things to do' items and paint it, I looove it,
a much better fit for my cottage decor, don't ya think?

The painted version of my finial! I thinned my white paint
down, painted over about 1/3 of the finial and rubbed it
out and repeated the steps, leaving it with a worn and aged
looking patina! I think those sweet little Paperwhites are
'welcoming' the new & improved finial!

Always, Debbie~

The finial came out very nice. I think the care you put into painting it shows.

Willis it looks wonderful and I'm so glad to see that you are getting your shop going.☺ It was really good to talk to you today. I miss our talks. Any who, made another Hair Nic™ and now I am in the process of making my son-in-law an ear flap hat. ☺ I'll finish it tomorrow as I am going to bed. Did you check out the video about the single mom who built her own straw house at my shop n blog. I love those kind of homes and hope to build my own someday.
Big Hugs, Mem
