Loving This Cupboard Painted White!

I've had this cupboard for quite a few years,
I looove it's shape and handmade look, but
a few years ago I painted it to match the
slipcover on my sofa when I was using more
color. Now that I'm back to painting most
of my beloved treasures WHITE, I've fallen
in love with this sweet gem all over again
with her new coat of WHITE, big thanks to
my MacGiver for painting it for me!

I've just noticed it's missing a knob, when my
sweetie was putting the knobs on, he had to
drill a couple out and this one broke...darn,
now I have to visit a couple antique stores
to find a replacement....;)

My little cottage plaque above this
cupboard looks a bit dark, I think
it needs to be moved, I just love it's
sweet message though.

Here's a picture after my MacGiver
sanded this cupboard down, so it's just
the shadow of how it was, but you
get the idea and see how it's been
transfored into such a beauty in WHITE!

Here's some of my Hull Pottery Collection
I don't activly collect it anymore, but I still
think it's beautiful, I was drawn to
the simple beauty of the flowers with the pastel
colors they used.

Vintage Vanity REmake, REstyle and REused!

A while back we decided to replace the vanity
in our bathroom. One weekend we set off
looking for a vintage vanity that would fit
everything we were looking for! It needed
several drawers, large mirror and above
all else a SWEET COTTAGE FEEL!

It didn't take us long to find our little gem!
It has 6 drawers, drop down mirror with
two side moveable mirrors...perfectly adorable
for our space!

We then decided on a vessel sink and found
a green clear glass one with a vintage look,
we thought it was a bargain at a $100.00.

We picked out new flooring and my MacGiver
installed it beautifully and added gorgeous
new trim along the floor to finish it off.

A couple of days after that, we were
snooping through one of our favorite local
thrift stores and there sitting on the floor was the
most awesome vintage Art Deco sink!!!
I couldn't get to it quick enough and almost fell
over when I saw the price...$9.98! Needless to
say, we scooped it up. (When we paid for it we
found out it was 50% off, what a bargain)!!!

We took back the vessel sink and my
MacGiver was only too happy to adjust
our sweet little vanity to accommodate
our new vintage sink! Our bathroom looks
twice the size now, because our old vanity
went down to the floor, and our new
vanity has legs that show more flooring
giving it such a spacious look!

I couldn't fit the whole vanity in this picture,
but you get the main idea of how it looks,
~*~
I
just
looove
it!

This sits behind the loo, and houses vintage
collectibles, I think it looks out of place now,
it's to the right of the vanity mirror...
What do you think?
Maybe painted WHITE?

This is my window, I have a thing for vintage frogs...
Oh, and have I told you, I looove pansies?

Take Me Out to the Ball Game...

My cousin called and invited us to a Seattle Mariners baseball
game, but they weren't just any ole tickets, they were

VIP tickets in a suite!

WooHoo, we'd never been privy to suite tickets
before, how cool was this! Her hubby works for the Mariner's
and she's told us before to let her know when we'd like to go,
but this was a complete surprise. Her Dad (my uncle) went,
her bro (my cousin) and his wife, her hubby took the day off
(because when the Mariners are in town he works), but this
was special with them inviting people to join them in the 'suite'!

vs.

When we got there, we found not only was it the coolest of
cool, with awesome beautiful padded roll away chairs outside
in a cozy little balcony with three rows of seating, but the suite
inside had a table in the center full of yummy foods like a
wonderful layered dip and chips, a fruit tray, peanuts, hot dogs,
pizza, coffee and juice! Later they even delivered fresh brownies
to top off our afternoon!

~the pizza and hot dogs are on another counter~

A person came and got the kids and whisked them away, only to
return with ice cream sundae's! Then another person came in
to deliver calendar's and posters for the kiddos...

but the best surprise of all was...

~The Mariner Moose~

For me though even though I looove the Moose!
I got a small shot of Jay Buner who was there
as a guest, which was cool and 'The Kid'
Ken Griffey Jr. had the day off...dern, but
a highlight for me was seeing Ichiro play and

watch
him
stop
a
HOMERUN!

No kidding, he ran back to the fence and jumped
up*up*up and nabbed the ball just before it
went over the fence!!! YEAH! I've seen him
do it while watching tv, but neva in person!

(Did I mention, we were just above 1st. base)?!!

~Gotta Looove him~

~His famous ritual~

WooHoo!

After nine innings and the Mariners having the only score,
sadly enough, they lost it in the 11th. inning...yeppers 11th.
Texas beat us 3-1...(some nasty errors)

but,

I'm not pointing any fingers...
We still had an AWESOME DAY
at the ball park!

A huge shout out to my cousin's Barb & Eric and Christopher too!
Thanks a million for such a special day! Big hugs!

Always, Debbie~
