Mingling*Moving*Mixing*...All White, I mean just Right!

I've added a couple more pieces to my (newly started)

I promised

to show you what I'd

found last week while out thrifting,

but my MacGiver's in the

middle of wiring my

beautiful new chandelier

and run into quite a snag, so

without lights in the dining room

(just a minor inconvenience)

I thought I'd show you my sweet little

corner cupboard instead ...

(we just switched it out

yesterday),

There use to be another

corner cupboard in it's place,

but this one's a bit roomier.

It's the traveling cupboard, it had been

in the living room forever,

then in the bedroom,

but it had never quite made it into the

dining room before, until now!

Here it is, covered in beautiful WHITE!

You've seen this platter, but the adorable ' frog prince' is new!

As soon as I walked into the craft store and saw him, I knew I

had to have him!

and...

I also just found the sweet little creamer & sugar!

My friend Karen gave me these darling little cherubs several

years ago for Christmas!

They look wonderful

on this corner cupboard,

Last Week I Got Lucky~

I looove thrift stores especially when I leave with a little

something something that brings a smile to my lips!

I began looking for 'White Dishes' for everyday use,

and I was truly lucky enough to find four dinner plates

and...

These pretty whites were found at two different stores, a couple of

days apart last week, but wait until I show you what

Stormy Weather Veggies

We have this quite often, and looove it, I make enough for two

to three meals at a time, which is fabulous, because these days,

cooking's NOT at the top of my list of favorite 'to do's'! We

love veggie's so I throw in anything we happen to have at the

time, my MacGiver loves sweet potatoes so that's a must

for him and I love peppers, so that's a must for me, other than

that, anything's fair game, and if you notice we even like

looove

brussel sprouts,

Really,  

YOU

 ask! 

'I know what you're thinking'

try them, they're really wonderful roasted, you may find

you like them too!

Here's all I do, Wash the veggies, cut them (fairly large sized)

they shrink down while roasting.

Pour olive oil over them and add the secret ingredient

~NOT~

of Costco's (Kirkland brand) Organic No-Salt

Seasoning,

it's fabulous and perfect with the veggies, a little

salt and  pepper and add a few cut up

Costco dogs (you know, the kind from the cart),

and it's Mmmm Mmmm Good!

They've been in for about half an hour and already smell divine!

Roast aprox. an hour at 350 degrees!

T-Shirt to Tote! Reuse~Reduce~Repurpose!

Great idea for a fave t-shirt that's seen better days!
 My friend Karen

raises these adorable dogs,
this was one of her old
t-shirts!

'side one' is original t-shirt front

So I made this for her,

an adorable repurposed tote,

twas one of her fave t's

AND of course,

I personalized it for her!

'side two' stenciled letters

This is a very easy project, I made these with my students

last year, they had a blast decorating their own totes. Your

kiddos or grandkiddos would love this project too! I finished

this one off with a loop over a vintage button, but like a

plastic bag, it really doesn't even need a closure!

               These vintage inspired items let me DREAM beyond Spring

I would love one of these lrg. buckets, (don't you just love the handles)?

We live about 30 miles from the tulip fields and these pictures

have me already dreaming of how many dozens of tulips I want,

it's always such a treat to see the glorious fields

in living color,

Chandelier Envy has had me hunting near & far and...

I'm happy to say, I finally found a

dreamy

white Chandelier

that's caught

my

fancy!

For a long while, I've been looking for the
perfect Chandelier for my dining room.
 I'd hoped for a vintage one, even though it might 

need some TLC and repairs, but everytime I found one,

it seemed to need more than a little work and I 

wasn't sure my MacGiver would looove it as much

as I did, especially, if it needed too many repairs!

So when I saw this chandelier, I knew it was the one!

I know I should wait until we have it up and everything

 else in the dining room's done before I show it to you, but I just

can't wait, I looove it!

'Cottage Cozy' 

(moved around for about the bazillionth time), I'll show the reveal
