Predicted Snowfall, Dusted in and Rained OUT...

Sorry I've been MIA of late.
~*~

I wish I could tell you I've been
on an extended trip to Europe to
visit relatives in Italy that I've
 never met.
or
 Rejuvenating at a full on
vacation spa.

Somewhere with
breathtaking views,
and when the sun comes up,
 it takes my breath away...

but alas...

That would be a lie!

They are real places in my heart,
 that I dream of
visiting someday...

However,

Back to reality...

I've found myself so excited
on the predicted snowfall, promised
by our weathermen for our area
this week!!!

Only
to
be
left
totally
disappointed!

I wanted to wake up to a blanket of
white snow that was serene,
ever so quiet
and
BEAUTIFUL...

I LOVE SNOW!

We don't really get a lot of snow
here in the Pacific Northwest,
like you may think!

Two years ago we got more than
we've had in years
and I LOVED IT!

~like this~
(my summer coffee spot)

This was from the snowfall two years ago, the flakes
were fabulous, it truly was a white wonderland!

~it snowed several more inches after this picture~

~My McGiver out feeding our critters~

Our predicted snowfall amounted to a little
dusting of snow followed by hours
of rain, so I've pulled these
delightful wonderland pictures
out of moth balls to
enjoy
what
could
have
been...

It's okay to dream and
maybe it's a healthy way
to while away the
hours,
or maybe
pick up a
good book,
but best of all,
visit with a
loved one
or
your
best bud!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Always, Debbie~

I was so excited to hear the predictions too but alas, blah...rain. I hope we get a huge snow storm before winters end, that one in November was not enough!

Oh..there is nothing worse than snow that turns to rain. I'm sure it gave you the blahs! With all that we have and more coming I would be most happy to send you a few semi-loads...will you pay shipping?;>D Diana

Hi Debbie..
Love your snow photos..
I'm so glad you came to visit me and saw the new baby.. I just started another last thursday, a boy this time, or at least thats what its supposed to be.. The creative process is odd, as often the face just says GIRL instead so I'll have to wait till I'm further along with this one to actually know..
I was reading your profile and I so agree about Mother Earth being in crisis , mostly due to our waste and lack of proper action on our own and her behalf. I too try to use and reuse, in an effort to stop so much waste.
Thanks again for your visit and your sweet comment.
